Pitches and Map

Pitch management in CampDESK Pro maps the physical structure of your campsite digitally — from individual plots to the interactive overview map.

Pitch Categories

Organise your pitches into categories:

• Standard pitch: simple pitch without electricity
• Comfort pitch: with electricity connection
• Premium pitch: electricity, water, wastewater
• Rental accommodation: mobile home, holiday apartment, pod
• Season pitch: for season campers

Every category has its own prices, features and dimensions.

Creating a Pitch

For each pitch you record:

## Zones

Zones divide your site into logical areas:

• Area A: family zone (close to the playground)
• Area B: quiet zone (night silence from 10 p.m.)
• Area C: season campers
• Area D: rental accommodation

Zones help with orientation and can have their own rules (e.g. dogs allowed / not allowed).

Interactive Map

The interactive map shows your entire site as a visual overview:

• Colour coding by occupancy status (free, occupied, reserved, blocked)
• Clicking a pitch shows details and the current booking
• Drag and drop to relocate guests
• Navigation on the site plan

Setting Up the Map

1. Upload a site plan as a background image (PNG or SVG)
2. Position the pitches on the map
3. Adjust size and orientation
4. Save the map view

Points of Interest (POIs)

Mark important places on the map:

• Sanitary buildings
• Reception
• Playground
• Bread roll service
• Waste disposal station
• Wi-Fi hotspots

POIs help your team and can optionally be shown on the guest website.

Blocking a Pitch

For maintenance work or seasonal closures:

1. Select the pitch
2. Click “Block”
3. Enter the period and the reason
4. Blocked pitches are not offered in availability

Bulk Editing

For changes to several pitches at once:

• Select multiple pitches
• Change category, zone or status together
• Create seasonal closures for entire areas
